About Mohammed Al Rawi

Mohammed Al Rawi is the Chief Information Officer for the L.A. County Department of Parks and Recreation. He is in charge of leading the development, modernization, assessment and ongoing analysis of information technology, information security governance, data management and reporting systems supporting the department’s 2,700 employee workforce. Mr. Al Rawi is also the Chairman of the Los Angeles County Innovation and Emerging Technology Commission.

Mr. Al Rawi has brought many award-winning innovative solutions to transform business processes and to solve complex, life-saving, business challenges. Mr. Al Rawi was named one of Government Technology’s Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers for 2018.

In addition to his passion for auto racing, Mr. Al Rawi is a computer scientist who enjoys coding and application development in his spare time.
