About Bobby Kobara

Bobby Kobara is the Project Coordinator for Outreach on the Census 2020 Initiative team with the Office of Mayor Eric Garcetti. He leads outreach programs for the City’s Census 2020 effort, including the Census Goodwill Ambassador (CGA) Program, training City department staff, and also provides community presentations and training sessions across Los Angeles. Previously, he worked as an independent consultant for the LA County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC). Bobby received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is an alumnus of the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs. LinkedIn

About Austin Jude Stanion

Austin Jude Stanion is an urban planner and data strategist with experience in both public sector planning and technology startups. He currently works for L.A. City Mayor Eric Garcetti as the Data / GIS coordinator for the City’s Census 2020 Initiative. Austin graduated with a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA, where his research focused on modeling impacts of freeway emissions on vulnerable communities in Los Angeles County. Prior to his time at UCLA, Austin worked as a product manager at technology startups in real estate and transportation. In addition to his work in startups, Austin founded and built a non-profit online tool to help recent immigrants navigate their immigration options. LinkedIn
