California Digital Identity: Piloting Digital Identity with the State of California

The California Department of Technology’s Digitial Identity team (CDT D-ID) is tasked with exploring options to provide a consistent, secure, privacy enabled, reliable, and consent-based method to authenticate and verify the identity of a California resident when accessing public services. About Jarrett Krumrei

Jarrett Krumrei is a Senior Product Lead in the California Department of Technology’s (CDT) Office of Digital Services (ODS). He leads projects focused on improving the delivery of state services for Californians through projects like the Digital Identity program and Digital Vaccine Record. Prior to CDT, he held product-focused roles at the California Mental Health Servives Authority (CalMHSA), Block (formerly Square), and Google. He lives in Sacramento and enjoys hiking, playing recreational softball, and petting cats.
