About Edwin Rodarte & Andy Vuong
Edwin Rodarte is a senior librarian at the Los Angeles Public Library in the Department of Emerging Technologies, where he focuses on technology-driven and data-informed library services. He advocates for inclusive and innovative library services, serving as co-chair of the LGBTQIA Services Committee and the Immigrants Affinity Group, and as Technology Chair for REFORMA, where he works to strengthen library services for Latino and Spanish-speaking communities.
Andy Vuong is a data analyst on the Data & Analytics Team for the Los Angeles Public Library. He has extensive knowledge in data collection, processing, analysis and reporting. He has used his expertise to study several government, data-related projects including materials testing, environmental impact and, now, library services. In his current role, he analyzes and interprets key library performance indicators to describe program successes and inform strategic planning.
